How it all began

Our Story

Cloé and Harshit were exploring Didsari Village located in remote areas of Uttarakhand where they felt the pain of the locals through four challenges- the people were extremely impoverished, there was an evident lack of livelihood, the emigration of youth leaving the old behind and lack of infrastructure addressing the most basic human needs. Dejected by the incongruity of the place, so rich in resources yet so underappreciated, they decided to do something to address these four challenges. They brainstormed about 100 ideas and finally had their ‘Aha! Moment’ one day while savoring the meal with the locals. For thousands of years, villagers of Uttarakhand are consuming ‘पीसी लून’ locally in the region. The rare Himalayan condiments and herbs are crushed in mortar and pestle along with rock salt to create a distinct flavour and aroma. Through these handcrafted herbs and salts, we strive to bring you the essence of the Himalayas and Ayurveda infused with culinary values of Energy Chef of India, MasterChef Harpal Singh Sokhi, who represent our brand and has an active role to play in the development of our salts. Our salts have innumerable health benefits like maintaining body temperature, body weight, emotional health, brain development, hair health, skin health, and many more. We believe that primary producers of HimShakti spices and herbs, the residents of Village Didsari, are the major stakeholders in our business and we strive to ameliorate their way of life and provide them with sustainable opportunities to earn throughout the year.

Our Mission

Primary object is to help the farmers which were affected by 2012 Kedarnath disaster.

As the flood caused dissipate of many villages in the Uttarkashi district . As the founder was already associated with social work in various organization . He helped the farmers with seeds and essentials to grow crops taking the advantage of the fertile land and helped them to generate the revenue.
